Probably like with the IRR Tools, where you can only use max. 50% of Singaporean ASNs or less, the problem sits in education and the requirement from bigger upstream providers to make your prefixes/ASNs ready for the game.

I'm new to this region but it's quite good documented on the APNIC website and the trainers which are doing also some remote trainings do a good job, but as long no policy says you have to update your RPSL records or that you need a AS-Set when your connected to an IXP or adding your records to the PeeringDB (yeah and there are lots of networks which are using IRR details like these fellows here: https://www.peeringdb.com/private/participant_view.php?id=4312) without knowing what your doing than its time to go back to school, but without a policy enforcement this will never happen, it will become even worse in the future.

@PeeringDB: Can you verify the IRR records before someone can save it to your database?

@Chun Sing why don't you ask to add valid IRR Details until end of 2015 at SGIX? Everyone can learn and practice until than, bann them if they don't and that makes the network more secure and trustworthy for everyone. Than think about requirements in 2016.

Or like all lazy people skip IRR and update the RPKI details once...
