[sg-hub] IPv6 "Requirements" in Singapore - what do you including your RFPs?

Hi Team,
For the first time I’m able to have native IPv6 on my Mac in my apartment in my flat (in Singapore). It still takes a bit of work to make this work in the US.
Someone is pushing and deploying IPv6, but I’m still surprised by the vendor response in Asia. Over the last couple of years, I saw RFPs with very “general” IPv6 requirements. When I used a more detailed list of IPv6 requirements, the response from the vendors was interesting. It ranged from shocked to “US Imperialism” for using the NIST and IP6V Forum requirements (yes, from two of the well known big name vendors in the region).
Q. What are you using in your RFPs for “IPv6 requirements?”
I have a list I’ve posted here: https://www.linkedin.com/pulse/ipv6-adding-requirements-your-rfp-barry-greene
I’ growing this list and creating it in a way that any network operator can use in their RFPs. It will save you some work and also take away any questions from the vendors (given that we are getting these requirements widely peer reviewed).
Q. Does anyone have a pointer to the IDA “IPv6” requirements in Singapore? Do they get to this level of detail?
Thanks,
Barry
